We visited the Euskalduna Conference Centre in Bilbao to participate in the 7th Basque Country Logistics Conference
Eñaut Sarriegi, Commercial Director of ULMA Handling Systems, presented the details of a logistics automation process at the 7th Basque Country Logistics Conference held at the Euskaduna Conference Centre in Bilbao.
Yesterday, 11 May 2022, the 7th Basque Country Logistics Conference was held at the Euskalduna Conference Centre in Bilbao, organised by the Basque Country Mobility and Logistics Cluster, in collaboration with the Easyfairs group.
Among the different presentations at the conference, which focused on the subjects of digitalisation and automation, Eñaut Sarriegi, Commercial Director of Ulma Handling Systems, presented the details of a logistics automation process based on the gradual concept. Under this premise, the company provides initial-, medium- or high-level automated intralogistics solutions, according to the customer's needs, and for projects of any size. “The automation process facilitates logistics management in businesses, from the receipt of goods from production and external suppliers, to their dispatch”.
Here is one of the success stories presented by Ulma Eroski. Arantza Laskurain, head of continuous improvement and projects at the distribution company, also took part in the presentation.
AR Racking, Ibili, Dachser, Mondragon Unibertsitatea, among others, also gave presentations at the conference.
